Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 16 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern RentalPlugin subscriptions and related setup and website services supplied by RentalPlugin (NIE: Y5499131Y).

1. Provider and contact

Provider: RentalPlugin (NIE: Y5499131Y)
Registered address: Calle Alicant 13-3, 03501 Benidorm, Spain
Business/tax ID: Y5499131Y
Email: info@rentalplugin.com

2. Scope and business customers

RentalPlugin is offered primarily to businesses and self-employed professionals for business use. By ordering, you confirm that you are acting for business purposes and are authorised to bind that business. You must provide accurate name, business, billing address, country, contact and tax identification details requested at checkout. You are responsible for the accuracy of those details and for determining your tax treatment. RentalPlugin may request corrections or supporting information where reasonably required for invoicing or tax compliance.

3. Orders and services

The plan, billing interval, price, setup scope and any service-specific terms shown at checkout or in a written quote form part of your order. An order is accepted when RentalPlugin confirms it or activates the service. Online descriptions are summaries; the checkout or accepted written quote controls where it states a specific scope or price.

4. Subscription billing, renewal and cancellation

Monthly subscriptions are charged monthly and renew each month until cancelled. You may cancel a monthly subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Annual subscriptions are charged in advance for the year. You may cancel an annual subscription during the year to prevent the next renewal, but access continues until the end of the already-paid annual period.

Use the cancellation controls in your RentalPlugin account or the linked Stripe customer portal. Stopping or blocking a payment is not a reliable substitute for submitting a cancellation request. If a payment fails, access may be restricted while payment is overdue. RentalPlugin may allow a seven-day grace period after a failed renewal; if payment remains outstanding after that period, the licence may be disabled and the subscription handled under the payment provider’s retry and cancellation status.

Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, subscription charges and completed services are non-refundable. Nothing in these terms excludes a refund or other right that cannot legally be excluded.

5. Licence, updates and support

While your subscription is active and paid, RentalPlugin grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the RentalPlugin software for your business on the WordPress installation covered by your plan. You must not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or attempt to circumvent licence checks. Your licence may be limited or disabled when a subscription ends or remains unpaid.

After the paid subscription period ends, RentalPlugin may restrict subscription features and downloads. Security updates and subscription support are available only while the applicable subscription is active, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. Plan-specific support hours, if included, unlock and expire according to the plan description and do not carry over beyond the subscription year unless stated otherwise.

You are responsible for maintaining compatible WordPress, hosting, payment-provider accounts, credentials and backups of your site and business data. We recommend testing updates and keeping independent backups.

6. Complete Rental Website package

The Complete Rental Website package is a €999 one-time build fee combined with a PRO subscription. After launch, the package includes €54.99 per month for hosting, updates and maintenance, as described on the package page or in your accepted quote. Prices exclude VAT; applicable VAT is calculated at checkout based on the billing details and applicable rules.

The stated package scope includes the agreed branded WordPress website, RentalPlugin setup, configuration of up to 20 rental items, payment-provider and booking-rule setup, contract configuration, domain connection and launch, hosting/server service, maintenance, up to four hours of technical support per subscription year, a 99% uptime target measured by IONOS monitoring, and one consolidated reasonable revision round before launch. Any different scope in a written quote takes precedence.

During an active package subscription, RentalPlugin will make reasonable efforts to correct faults caused by our work. This does not cover faults caused by third-party services, hosting or domain providers, WordPress or other software updates, customer changes, incompatible software, malware, inaccurate information supplied by you, or events outside our control. Personal adjustments, new features, additional pages, new content, redesigns and other changes outside the agreed scope are quoted or invoiced separately and require your approval before work begins.

7. Your website, content and legal compliance

You are solely responsible for the information, products, prices, claims, images, customer communications and other content published on your website, including your own terms and conditions, rental agreements, privacy and cookie notices, consumer information, cancellation rules and any other legal documents. RentalPlugin does not provide legal or tax advice and does not verify that your content or business practices comply with laws applicable to you. You must obtain appropriate professional advice and keep your content accurate and current.

You are responsible for the lawful collection and use of personal data through your website, for securing the site and its accounts, and for providing required notices and obtaining required permissions from your visitors and customers. Where our services involve processing personal data on your behalf, the parties will put any legally required data-processing terms in place.

8. Third-party services and availability

The services may rely on third parties, including Stripe, SumUp, hosting and infrastructure providers such as IONOS, domain registrars, WordPress, internet providers and other software vendors. Those providers operate under their own terms and control their own systems. RentalPlugin is not responsible for their acts, omissions, fees, outages, account decisions, security incidents or changes, except to the extent the law makes us responsible for our own conduct. You may need to maintain your own accounts and accept those providers’ terms.

We aim for 99% monthly availability for the hosted website package, measured using IONOS uptime monitoring. This is a service target, not a guarantee or service-credit commitment. Planned maintenance, emergency maintenance, internet or DNS issues, third-party outages, customer actions, security incidents, force majeure and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect availability. We will use reasonable efforts to restore service and communicate material incidents where practical.

9. Intellectual property and acceptable use

RentalPlugin and its software, designs, documentation and materials remain owned by RentalPlugin or its licensors. You retain rights to materials you provide and grant us permission to use them only as needed to provide the ordered services. You must not use the service unlawfully, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious code, infringe another person’s rights, or use it to send unsolicited messages or conduct fraud.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend affected services where reasonably necessary to address non-payment, security threats, unlawful use, a material breach, or a third-party provider requirement. Where practical, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue. Either party may terminate for a material breach that remains uncured after written notice and a reasonable cure period, unless immediate action is reasonably needed for security or legal compliance. Ending a service does not remove payment obligations already incurred or rights that accrued before termination.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RentalPlugin is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue, loss of bookings, loss of anticipated savings, reputational harm, or loss or corruption of data arising from use of the service. You should keep independent backups and maintain appropriate insurance for your business.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RentalPlugin’s total aggregate liability arising from the affected service is limited to the fees you paid for that service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or other non-excludable liability. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that applicable law makes mandatory.

12. Events outside our control

Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural events, war, civil disorder, labour disputes, government action, major infrastructure or internet failures, cyberattacks, or outages of essential third-party services. The affected party will take reasonable steps to limit the impact and resume performance.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service, law or business operations. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect an active sub
